I had a positive experience with only a few take aways. First of all the staff was super nice kind and polite. It is located reasonably close to PHX. The Tempe Mission Palms has very beautiful grounds, Almost an Oasis. The brunch is great and was the best bargain on this trip (16.50). The cooked to order omelets were very very good. The hotel is clean and the pool area on the 2nd floor is large, clean, well decorated and comes with cabanas available. Tempe Mission was a beautiful place to have an outdoor wedding at the fountain. Now the take aways. The rooms are dated with very small bathrooms. The toilet, sink and shower are all together in a confined area. Unless someone is in the shower, only one person can use it at a time. The bathroom has poor ventilation and the in room air conditioning clicks when it comes on and is loud. The Tempe Mission Palms is located in a college town. There is a Bar not connected but just outside the hotel that is loud til 2am. The roads are narrow and crowded with college kids. I would stay there again if I had to. Its probably one of the nicest hotels in the area. The rooms need to be renovated from the 1980"s style of nice.
