I came here right after an episode of Dives, Diners and Drive-Ins on TV showed this place. We were here in town for Spring Training, and after a game, we were hungry and in no mood to search for a dinner spot. The TV show really played it up and everything looked good. I liked the catfish shown on TV. Got here and catfish was only on Fridays. Oh well, I chose the pork and slaw sandwich. That was good. The fires were small but good. The other three guys I was with were not so impressed. They thought the food was so-so. I thought it was not even close to what was talked about on TV. There may have been some big-time overacting on the hosts's part. Not relying on that show's host to be a good judge of food. The service was very slow even though few were there. Two of us started eating so we wouldn't have cold food while the others waited a long time. The waitress was over-worked. It would have been a nightmare had the place been packed. I had no idea why it took so long with the few people here. Ribs, chicken, brisket was ordered and it was all so-so. The sauces were nice but not enough to save a lot of the meal. It was all okay, but we'll try another place on our next visit.
