  • I love how the Yelp note for five stars is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" Because that's how my family and I feel about Heartland. Seriously. We walk in the first time a couple years ago, and my wife says "This is nice." I'm not convinced. The band plays the worship set. My wife says "They're really good, and I feel like I worshipped." I'm not convinced. Then Dave stands up and preaches. My wife says at the end "It's like he was talking to ME." I'm still not convinced. You see, here's the thing about me. I need to see things more than once. Consistency is a big deal to me. It takes more than just one time... So we came back the next weekend. And the weekend after that. For about three months. My wife said "This church is awesome." And I was convinced. You should check it out.
