MCAH has been my vet ever since we adopted Gypsy 8 years ago. They have done her rabies sheets, and annual check ups. They have always been very attentive to her needs. I love how they call her by name and call her a little lady even though she is far from little. Or a lady.
Today we visited MCAH for an emergency, not a regular visit. Gypsy was acting a little stranger than usual yesterday, and was very uncomfortable last night. I had a 7AM appointment this morning to get my brakes checked, I returned home at 9:30 to find Gypsy in obvious distress. I called MCAH to see if they could see her, and they told me to come right away. Dr. Hyatt was very comforting to Gypsy, and very thorough in her exam. She was very clear in her explanation to me, stressing that Gypsy would need to lose weight or her condition would worsen. We spent 5 minutes discussing feeding options before coming up with a weight loss plan. Gypsy and I went home with 3 medicines, which were already cut in half for us so we could give them twice a day.
I'm so thankful to have found MCAH 8 years ago, they have always been there when we needed them.
