I couldn't be more excited that Las Vegas finally has a winery! (Technically, this winery is located in Henderson, but that's close enough)The minute I heard this place had opened, I just knew I had to check it out. We decided to stop in on a Friday night and do a tasting. I must say i absolutely loved all 5 wines they had, but my favorite of course was the Riesling (I'm a true sucker for the sweet wines). Their meat and cheese place was fantastic, a perfect pairing for any wine. After our tasting, we got to partake in a tour where the Professor taught a vast amount of wine knowledge. It was intriguing to find out that they originated as a wine making school and in fact, groups of people still get together and attend classes at the school to make their very own bottles of wine! The average cost per barrel is around $3700 and it roughly males over 200 bottles of wine. Perfect for events such as a wedding where you want to give you guests a personal and unique gift. Definitely something I'll consider for when that big day comes in the future.
My only true con about this place was I had such a hard time finding the entrance as they are located in an industrial business area, but I called the winery and they were able to direct me to their exact location. I was very appreciative of their assistance and I can't wait to go back and sample more wines.
