| - After you visit Go-Green Smog, you will understand why people are taking the time to review a smog place at all. Seriously, treat yourself to what a smog check can really be like.
Year after year, car after car, I would get a smog check done at some random Jiffy Smog or Smog Busters around town. I always had "that guy" who was aloof and not too thrilled to be at work, but always let you know that "we do accept tips." As if needing a $25 smog check wasn't already annoying enough, now you want a tip for being a jerk.
This year, I decided to check out yelp to see if there were any other options out there. The reviews for Go-Green had me at "5-star." I wondered if a smog check place could really be worth yelping about.
I pulled into the space in front of Go-Green, which is on the north-east corner of Russell and Pecos (facing Pecos). I was literally in and out within minutes. Luis was so friendly and efficient. Luis offered me bottled water while I "waited" (I don't even think you can say I had to wait, it really was that fast). I checked in on yelp and received $2 off the already low price of $18.99. No gimmicks. I paid $16.99 on my credit card, tipped the most-deserving Luis in cash, and I was on my way.
I will be happy to give my business to Luis in the future. This experience has made me look forward to a friendly chat, with a side of smog check, in the future. Thanks Luis!
