The long lines are intentionally created by Hurts with staffing strategies. As many people note, there is only 1 person working the counter. There were at least 6 people making doughnuts, so if they cared about customer service they could put at least 2 people at the counter. But they don't. It's the same strategy they have used at other locations to force lines and the appearance that these must be the best doughnuts ever.
They're not. They are overly sweet, and don't taste much like anything but sugar. My caramel cinnamon didn't actually taste like caramel. There are far better doughnuts available in town - without waiting in an unnecessary line. We won't be back.
