  • I really didn't like MGM, but giving it 2 stars probably isn't doing it justice. I actually booked a last minute stay for 1 night bc I wasn't happy with another hotel I was staying at via priceline. I bid 95 on a 3.5 star south strip hotel on a sat night, which I expected to be tropicana, but I was pleasantly surprised to get MGM. The pros: decent size, fairly nice room; free wifi; great casino. Cons: old tv (though I guess people don't come to Vegas to watch tv), & a lot of drunk, young obnoxious guests, as evidenced by the bowls of potato chips strewn all over the hallway. I wouldn't stay here again. I checked into the signature the next day, which was much nicer.
