rev:text	Adams D & R was recommended to me by a plumber named Chris from Pink Plumbing. My water supply line had burst, leaving water all over my upstairs bathroom and first floor kitchen. I was in a pinch so I followed Chris' recommendation use Adams D & R. Shane Adams came out and informed the damage was extensive and they would be using fans to dry the areas out. Before I signed the contract, I saw that Adams D &R had a 1 and 1/2 star review. This concerned me and I informed the technician who assured me that it only pertained to their restoration services. I signed the contract for the water removal but informed the technician that I would not be using their restoration services. The following day I called a company with a five star review to give me an estimate on the restoration work. When they came out they showed me that the areas Shane had marked as wet were actually dry and that there were areas marked for demolition that should not have been. What disturbed me the most the fact that my five star company told me that the stove should have been removed and the wet laminate flooring should have been removed and other areas opened up immediately and that the areas were getting worse, not better. I immediately fired Adams D & R thru text to Shane. He asked me what was wrong. I told him to come get their equipment. I got no response. Then Chris the plumber from Pink then began calling and texting me. I told him he had recommended a company that was bad in my opinion. I then insisted that Chris use his influence to make Adams D & R come get their equipment. Only after Chris got involved did Adams D & R come get their equipment. My advice to you? Go with the reviews. I'm just glad I got that second opinion from the 5 star company in time.
