  • I'm very sad to have to leave this community. I lived here for over a year and a half in a one bedroom apartment. I have nothing to complain about, which for an apartment community, is pretty amazing. The location is great, I worked by the strip and had no trouble commuting at any time. There are so many great places close by to eat and shop. I really never needed to leave the area for anything. The pool is really nice and available 24 hours if you like to swim some late night laps like me. Just a bit on the community, I never actually met anyone that lived there (formally). Thats mostly on me because I am a fairly private person. There are a decent amount of families and kids at the pool at times, but that never bothered me. I never heard anything from my neighbors except for the guy above me a few times working out, never bothered me either. In my apartment living experience this is just luck of the draw, sometimes you get some inconsiderate people, sometimes you dont, I got lucky here. The papa johns tuesdays was pretty cool and I love pizza so $5 for a papa johns pizza when I pull in to my complex is pretty cool. Also just to mention this is Vegas, there WILL be bugs. You cant escape it, so just deal with it. They offer pest control FREE whenever you ask. Plug up your drains and you'll be fine. Never saw a Scorpion, and guess what if you live in Southern Highlands, you'll see some scorpions. Picking a community is weighing the pros and cons, this place had all the pros for me and Im happy I made the decision I did. One last tip, dont get fooled by these new communities that have all these new amenities, its not worth the extra $200 bucks a month, new communities tend to have a lot of problems and unorganized management, St. Clair knows what they are doing and you honestly don't have to worry. I have to mention the very best part of living there, Emily and Brett! These two are friendly, helpful, empathetic, and just genuinely good people. When I move back to Vegas (In LA now and I'm already missing it) I will be moving back to St. Clair. I just hope theres something available!
