  • Instead of ice cream, they served Crisco. After I took a bite of the "ice cream" that came with our cake, we asked the server to investigate what had happened. Instead of being apologetic or embarrassed, they blithely stated they had run out of ice cream and the person plating the desserts didn't know the crisco wasn't ice cream. After 5 hours of being violently ill and another phone call to the restaurant, we ended up with a luke warm apology at best. I've had entire meals comped for less. It's not so much the incident as the way they handled it. They did not care. I'm calling the health department first thing in the morning.
