  • No problem with the building or cleanliness. And the beds are very comfortable. But I am deathly allergic to feathers, and have a clearly stated request for a feather free room. Prior to my arrival I even called the hotel to confirm this, and was assured that all feather pillows had been removed. So imagine my surprise/alarm when I got to my room and discovered that there were feather pillows all over the beds. I went down to the person who checked me in to ask what happened, and she told me she never bothered to check for any customer requests. I'm not asking for someone to lay out rose petals on the floor and chill a bottle of champagne, I just wanted to be able to breathe in my room. But that was apparently a bridge too far for them, and I can't say they seemed to care very much about their oversight. So after waiting to have the pillows changed to I could finally go into my room, I discovered that one of the bathroom sinks was clogged and wouldn't drain. So I had to wait for them to fix that as well. Then the next day I turned on the tv for the first time, and that wasn't working properly either. I stay at Marriotts all the time, and this was among my worst experiences. But I probably wouldn't have even taken the time to post this review if somebody had contacted me to express even the slightest amount of regret over my experience (I filled out a customer satisfaction survey after I checked out), but it's been 10 days and nothing. I can only assume that their interest in addressing customer concerns on a survey are on par with their interest in addressing customer concerns before checking in. I will not be staying there again.
