  • We signed up our 3 1/2 yo son and 2 yo daughter for gymnastics classes here last Winter and we continue saying (weekly!) how thankful we are to have found this place. One thing that makes the LG unique from other similar businesses is that they have a locked lobby where a staff member is always present so that I can take a child/parent class with my 2 yo while my 3 1/2 son waits. He can play with the other kids, read, watch a movie, have a snack etc. Unless you have a babysitter (or a spouse who is always home) it's very challenging to take parent/child classes with multiple children of varying ages. Not only is the LG a fantastic place for your little ones to be wild and run off steam in the cold Winter months (any season really), it's also a safe, nurturing, learning environment for them. Their teachers were Miss Erin and Miss Nicole and I can't say enough nice things about either of them. They always remember EVERYONE'S name, children and parents included. I've even heard them kindly address siblings in the lobby who don't even take classes. To me all of this is a sign of a place that feels like family and wants to foster the best kind of environment for your children. Currently our son is in Summer camps and he always finishes exhausted and exhilarated. The mix of make believe, free play and skills is wonderful (I've stayed to watch for a bit-though you don't have to). I also LOVE that with your membership you get access to free-play hours for your child's age group so you can come in even more often. They offer three-hour camp themes at night too during the Summer and school year called Parent's Survival Night that I'm looking forward to taking advantage of also. I think it's worth mentioning that the cost of classes, camps and parent survival nights are very fair and competitive. We used to live in L.A. and a place like this would cost boatloads of $ so it really only seemed accessible to a certain type of family. Thank you Little Gym!
