Cornblooms sells shoes in the upper-mid-priced comfy but attractive range suitable for a certain class of Madison women (think J. Jill)... with some surprising, more adventurous styles as well. They have Danskos and Campers and some more stylish brazilian and italian makers. It is a nice selection and one could easily find something that pleases them. Cornbloom's is pricey and their "sale" prices are often still quite steep. BEWARE of Cornblooms's stingy return policy, especially for sale-priced items, even for unworn shoes. This can be surprising since half the store is often occupied by sale racks. This differs from most other operations where only a small section of clearance items would be final sale only. And the staff does not always alert you to the final-sale policy before you've completed the purchase! (Cornblooms's policy: All sales final for all sale-priced items. For regularly priced items: 7 days return for refund/exchange or 14 days for return for exchange/store credit only.) I highly recommend searching online for a shoe you see sale-priced there. I have had success finding a shoe at about $50 less than Cornblooms's clearance price and with the added benefits of free, fast shipping and more liberal return policy. (Sometimes a girl just changes her mind!)
