  • This review is going to have several points to make: 1. Dr. Sharma is awesome if you need spinal injections for a back injury. He's fast, efficient and they work. 2. There are two offices. One is on Rancho near UMC and the other is in Henderson. The Henderson office is fine except no person with a back injury should be made to sit in any of the standard waiting room chairs. The Rancho office leaves a LOT to be desired including: - I do not think they have ever been on time for an appointment. - I just returned and while I set my appointment a month in advance, they took two walk-ins before me as well as another person I was sitting next to who told me her appointment was 45 minutes after mine.. An hour and a half after my appointment time I finally get to see the doctor who is so rushed he really doesn't have the time to listen to what I have to say. I have seen multiple doctors for multiple issues and was trying to convey what was happening there and talk about a potential alternative. What I said and what he heard were two entirely different things. Sigh. The purpose of waiting to see was completely lost and nothing got accomplished... except me coming out of pocket for another appointment. - The office is too small in every way and has a tiny waiting room. Dr. Sharma is only there one day a week and it's always packed. Standing room only in a pain management clinic is pretty close to an oxymoron. Today there was a patient in a wheel chair with a service dog and another woman in a mobility device... and all the chairs were taken and I was in agony in the exam room and a staff member came in and wanted me to move back to the waiting room. Nope. I have maybe a 30 minute window to sit vertically so unless you want to just lay down on the waiting room floor and let people use me as a footstool.. not hapening. - Heaven help you if you go to the Rancho office on a Monday in the summer. The ventilation is totally inadquate for the heat and the number of people and add 30 different perfumes and well.. I just wear a mask now to avoid a migraine and the very expensive treatment for the migraine.. and as few clothes as possible to avoid heatstroke. Sooo.. the moral to the story is Dr. Sharma is a great doc but avoid the Rancho office if you can. Allow at least 3 hours for every appointment. Don't wear perfume. Don't bring friends/family members unless you have no choice and if you do have them bring a folding chair and sit outside.
