I never wanted to have to write a bad review for this establishment because the location we used to go to (Henderson) usually has really nice medical staff. Today was a not so good experience.
This was our first time going to this location since we moved. Let me not forget to mention that the doctors are super nice and friendly and have a playful approach with the children.
The medical assistant that took my son's vitals today was not so friendly. Based on her own words, (I heard her talking to the nurse practitioner) because it was a Monday she was in the mood she was in. Really though? Not only did she say that but speaking underneath her breath (not so good at it) I couldn't help but hear what she was saying next....terrible that we haven't taken our son back in a while and we missed our appointment that we had set with them a few weeks ago. Well, life happens and I just so happened to start a new job that day.
As we were heading out I stopped by the front desk to update some paperwork with them and still she stood around with a smug look on her face. I made sure that I mention to them that I am fully aware of our missed appointment just to see if she showed any sort of reaction. Still....arms crossed and a smug look. Uggghhh ...whatever.
I wish I knew her name but because she didn't care to introduce herself upon rooming us I lack that information. Nonetheless, she looks to be of an African American decent with freckles. I hope that she is nicer to other patients and that this will be the last time we are greeted this way.
