  • Please upvote this review if you find it useful. My background is Internet Marketing, SEO, Website Design and consulting. I am considered a professional in these areas. I received a call from a fake 206 area code number claiming to be VMS Data based out of Phoenix. As soon as the call came in and the gentleman introduced himself and business name I immediately did a Google search for both the number and the company. Nothing but horrible reviews came up on BBB, Yelp and Google Business. I read them as I silently listened to the salesperson claiming, "Your Google Business Listing has been FLAGGED for removal". As a professional internet marketer, I am warning everyone, this is a SCAM. Google listings are not flagged, repeat, NOT flagged for removal to the point where a telemarketer will call you like this. Doing a simple search for what he said brought up local business professionals like myself who describe the scam. Folks, do NOT spend money with a company that will charge $300 to do what takes one minute to do, simply login to your Google My Business Account and Edit your profile, take a minute to do that and you will be in good shape. I cannot stand the deception. This company rates as an F by the BBB: https://www.bbb.org/phoenix/business-reviews/internet-marketing-services/vms-data-in-phoenix-az-1000041491 Some of the keypoints I noticed: Fake number - 206 area code that, if you try to call back is disconnected Lie about flagged Google Business Listing Rushed salesman, didn't sound personable at all, as if I was his 300th call for the day. 12 Fake Five Star Reviews from 2/1/17 to 2/3/17 if you scroll below to the "Not Recommended" reviews and go to the 2nd page.
