I've been using this location for multiple years to drop packages off. Typically I prepay and don't have many lengthy interactions with staff. That changed today while I was in the store for 10 minutes and received the most egregious customer service I've ever experienced. I've never been treated with as much disrespect and unprovoked derision as I was by the owner of this franchise.
I came in to pay for a shipment I had left for packing the previous day. I asked a staff member a question about the website and a man in a plain t-shirt (no ups decals) jumped in aggressively. I asked him if he worked at the store and he patronizingly responded "I'M THE OWNER OF THIS STORE!" as if there were any way to know that or any wrong in not knowing it. He continued to aggressively talk down to me in a condescending and demeaning tone as he rolled closer and closer in his chair, substituting knowledgeable answers with combative ones to end the conversation. Will not be returning and encourage others to use a different franchise as well. Unfortunate.
