My husband's iPhone got wet and he went in to get a new one at the store we always shop in.. The salesman sold him on a Galaxy and assured him with 100% certainty that it would be a great change and it was compatible with his hearing aids. He is a disabled Vet who has hearing issues and needs his aids. We brought it home and for a month he struggled with trying to get the hearing aid app and the phone to sync. We went in to tell them we could not function with this phone and they refused to give him an exchange because it was over 14 days. Really - they sold him a product that would not work with his disability!!! The manager and co manager refused to help us. We called customer service and tech support and they confirmed the aids were only iPhone compatible. We went back after days and hours with Verizon Tech and customer service and they still refused to help us!!!! They would not take responsibility for not knowing their product and selling him something that he could not use. Corporate Verizon said they totally understood, refunded him 100% on a trade-in to get an iPhone back and sent us to a corporate store in Boca Park. Those guys were great!! So was Jillian at Verizon corporate. She was totally understanding of my husband's struggles. The guys in Downtown Summerlin have no compassion and are cowards to not accept the fact that they frauded my husband. Never will we shop there again. (Victor & Jane)
