  • Absolutely a disaster to work with. Hired them to do backyard landscaping including a large travertine patio, and a wall to contain our trash cans. Their workers were not supervised at all by Poco Verde. The wall when done was off by 4" from front to back in an 8' span. They had to tear it down and start over. The 2nd time it was straight but too short to completely hide the trash cans. They had to add another foot. A year later I find they also should have put a couple of airflow/water vents according to building code. The travertine patio when complete was not close to level. They sent a new worker out -- he took one look -- and said it had to be ripped out and completely redone. The redo went ok. But now a year later 10-15 of the travertine tiles are developing pits in them and turning to dust. I question whether they even used "real" travertine. Issues with shrubs/trees were just as bad. For instance, we requested 3 dwarf citrus trees, an orange, grapefruit and lemon. First try they planted 3 lemon trees! They replanted the correct varieties but then I noted 2 of them were full size trees (not allowed by our association). So, replanted a 3rd time. I wont even go into detail about the drip system they installed but suffice to say many problems. I strongly recommend not using this firm. As others have suggested you will have to supervise your entire project and even then you will not get get a decent end product.
