rev:text	well me and my mom came to vegas for our first time and excalibur was something i picked out blindly with out seeing the reviews. yes people were right that the rooms and hall ways are stained but actually its not as bad as it sounds unless you're a clean freak then you might have a problem (curtains are stained and some walls in and outside the room and doors as well) but i figure since it is a "kids" hotel/zone most likely kids go CRAZY hyper in the castle (if you have kids you know the story after they get the crayons) !! When we made reservations I think we ordered the standard room but when we got to the registration we got the tower 2 room which also everyone on yelp is saying that is great.....so I can't say anything about tower 1, but the process was easy. the staff was all right, no attitude, but they could have explained to us what the hell they were giving us; like coupons for shows and stuff like that. Also I just want to say, if you're a big eater or if you're family is its better to get a 24 hr buffet- u kinda save more $ that way; especially if you're bringing the kids along or teenagers. The reason to why I give 3 stars is cuz it was an OKAY hotel, it wasn't like luxor ( i mean at luxor there is a theme, at excalibur there is none) It's great to bring kids here ( the slots machine's and all that is still there though ) to just have fun, or family, but if you're on a vacation with ur significant other then I wouldn't recommend it unless you two are both serious with each other and want to see kids to remind you that you need to get married and start making babies.
