  • After 10 months I am happy to say my lease is almost up. - High price for builder grade fixtures and laminate flooring that sounds like hard plastic when you walk on it - Laminate flooring shifting and coming off of the subfloor (I was told by another person in the building that this was happening in other units as well) - $2,000 for a one bedroom with a shower, no bathtub and a closet you have to close the doors behind you to reach either side - $75 per month for a reserved spot - $75 a month for a storage unit that is in visitor parking, not temperature controlled and is a series of metal fence cages that look more like the dog pound than a storage unit - $75 for a second parking pass since there are two of us on the lease - $75 for a second key/fob since there are two of us on the lease - Stopped letting the housekeeper in without warning requiring you to leave your key or get a spare for $75 - The cleaning staff come early in the morning meaning by the afternoon, the tile in the elevator lobby and the elevators is quite filthy - Most of the visitor parking spots outside the secure parking area (I think they started with maybe 10-12) now have "Resident Reserved Parking" signs on them yet the garage isn't full and visitors aren't allowed to park in the secure area - The garage gate meant to make it secure has been broken for days at a time repeatedly since I moved in (a couple of times during major events in Uptown with thousands of random people all around the building - The gym has a very strong air freshener in what seems to be an attempt to cover the smell of the carpet - Packages routinely get logged into the system but can't be found; it's on the resident to keep checking back in to see if anyone has located the package - Every concierge they have hired has left as have multiple replacements; consistent feedback has been that the office staff treat them poorly - Unless you are attending a big event in Uptown, living there during an event can be a traffic nightmare - Expect your 20-something neighbors to invite their 20 closest friends to the pool on nice weekends as well as over to parties if there is an event going on. Luckily you really only hear the people if they are in the hallway; but, you see their spilled drinks and random leftover cans and bottles in the elevator floor the next day - One woman in the leasing office who will consistently look up to smile, wave and say hello to residents walking by. The rest won't even acknowledge your presence if they are in the elevator with you - On a positive note, the concierge team, maintenance crew and housekeeping staff are quite friendly, extremely polite and always say hello with a smile
