This place is a trip. It is SUPER tiny and packed with...stuff. I'm assuming it's mostly stamps, but there are boxes stacked in every nook that I'm almost afraid to explore. You can find some really neat stuff. I go there with my father, who is a novice collector, and I just marvel at all the beautiful and interesting listings. The only downside to the store is that smoking takes place in the store, and you can tell.
The store offers several ways to purchase stamps. There is an old fashioned eBay system going on where sellers will physically post their stamp(s) with their minimum offer, and people come in and bid on them. It's a neat process to participate in. There are also consignment batches, coins and random classic paraphernalia such as postcards. And Ruth, the owner, is a total sweetheart. Super friendly and helpful.
It's a little dingy, totally stuffed and a lot claustrophobic, but it's a wonder to see and find all the little treasures.
