  • As an apartment dweller since 2009, I have found that I liked this place best of all. Their rent is pretty reasonable, I rented a two bedroom, two bath, for $740 a month. They only picture one pool here on the Yelp site, the fancy one, but there is a smaller one for the folks who live toward the back. They have grills and each pool has a Ramada for people to sit in to eat. They are PET FRIENDLY!!! I have a large breed dog and they even had a dog park complete with running water for your pet! I have to say that when my large dog was attacked by two Great Dane dogs (Yes, they most certainly can be vicious!!), the complex was swift to remove them from the property. If you are doing the right thing, they will back you 300%. They even have security that monitors the complex and help keep it safe. I have never heard of anyone complain about vandalism or other criminal activity. The only negative comments I have are the dog poop collection stations that are placed right next to the patios of some tenants. I feel their pain. They draw flies and smell awful. Their landscaper needs lessons, but I guess you can't have perfection. The front of the complex is nicely kept, but in the back it looks like a butcher took to the plants. The equipment in the gym isn't great, but it works. I know I had to complain once about the treadmills, but they were then fixed immediately. Would I rent at Archstone Desert Harbor again? YES!
