The difficult choice of home hospice was made on Sept8th. Was told meds would arrive within 4 hours, well they came 48 hours later.. There was no support given the social worker who came to house said i would give you my card but Friday is my last day. So we had no support or help from social worker, cna came 5 days a week to bathe. My mom past away Sept 22nd, nurse came to home, pronounced the passing did some paperwork and had to get going. After that we were on our own, The ONLY REGRET i have about my moms sickness, etc was choosing home hospice and this company. Then their equipment supplier was calling em less then 24 hours after my moms passing to get their equipment, when they finally came, they literally threw my moms mask on the floor, left the light on in the room, left the oxygen tubing hanging out of the garage garbage can and took a hoyer that is not even theirs. There was ZERO sensitivity. the only good ting was nurse kendra who while at my home advised she was leaving as well.
I was told and portrayed a whole different scenario when we were being 'educated" on home hospice.
There was no emotional support during the hospice and after my mom who lived with em in my home passed away.
such a dissapointment
