| - I think we all can admit that car shops have a bad rep that's not entirely unfounded. When the customer literally has no idea what needs to happen, it's super easy to get one over on them.
Rob and his team at Pro Collision never treated me like a paying customer. They treated me like a cousin, you know, in those families where there's like, half a million cousins. You may not know the person but you KNOW the person and you talk to them like a human being. After an accident earlier this year that got me started on a sour note, I wasn't looking forward to going through the process of repairs completely ignorant of what all the damage was. When we showed up here, Rob spoke to us like actual people and not a cash cow, which is remarkable considering the damage to my car.
A few months later, just yesterday in fact, I found myself back in his shop for yet another issue, whether it was related to the accident or not I couldn't say. I skidded in less than an hour before close, dreading the weeks it would take to relate. Rob greeted me by name, took a look, and told me just to go sit in the lobby and they could bust it out real quick. One and a half episodes of Roseanne later, I was back in my car with intense relief that I would not have to deal with the malfunction or suffer through a rental car for weeks.
If this review is vague on details, there's a good reason why- I have a less than remedial understanding of all that went down. All I know is, Rob handled my insurance, for us in when we needed it, offered more than fair pricing, and like I said... treated me like a human being.
I'd take real humanity over formalities any day of the week. Thanks, friends, for sorting this girl out.
