We took my boyfriend's parents out for dinner here a few weekends ago. The only request was somewhere quiet, as his dad is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid. My initial thought was Villa Dolce Cafe, given the small dining rooms and quaint atmosphere... not to mention the outstanding food. I tend to be a creature of habit, and once I eat a good meal somewhere I have a hard time ordering something else the next time I go. This restaurant is no different. The last three times I've been here I've ordered the same thing which was the Gorgonzola Pear pizza-- and the last four times I've been here I've been too hungry to take a picture of my food before I eat it! I did manage to snag some pictures of the desserts though (check out the flourless chocolate cake and cannoli below)!
The menu is primarily Italian-based and they offer gelato which is great for warm summer days when you're walking around downtown Middleton, and need a treat. They also have a small vegetarian section, which I always appreciate. Parking can be a little tricky at times however there is a big lot across the street where you can usually find a spot.
One of my Middleton favorites--check it out if you're in the area!
