  • 1) my baby used to see a Pediatrician at this place (I removed his or her name). The doctor never asked about how my baby was doing (monitor skills, speech, etc). My baby has a lot of issues with allergies, then doctor asked for a blood test. Wait, not true. My husband and I asked for the blood test. The office never called us to give the results, and it was a battle to get them to tell us part of the results on the phone, "its too much to go through" they said, so we dont even know what our baby was tested for. I always let my baby's doctor know that my baby is having a lot of trouble sleeping at night, snoring a lot, waking up a dozen times because theres something bothering my babys sleep. Dr. said "welcome to motherhood". When I said I believed my baby needed to see a specialist for allergies, doctor got a business card from the pocket and showed me "Im a specialist" - very rude. 2) this office gave us a hard time to set same-day appointments when my baby got sick. Once I lost my patience with their disregard for sick kids and thats when I got my babys same-day appointment after being transferred and finally being on the phone with the office. 3) dont expect to be answered by the drs. Office. They have an outsourced company that takes care of their calls. To get through an operator whos does not work in the office. So when u call their number, be prepared to talk to a machine and press the keypad of your phone at least 8 times before u talk to a human being (who doesnt work at the office like I said). Those operators, by the way, are extremely rude. After a long message, press 1 for Pediatrics, another number for Pediatrics AGAIN, enter the phone number related to patient, enter date of birth, enter again for "other requests", enter 2 for Pediatrics (AGAIN!) then when u think its over the machine asks you if you are willing to take a survey at the end of the call "press 1 for yes or 2 for no". Im NOT kidding. Btw, if in the beginning of the call u press 2 for Medical Records, expect the call to be ended all of sudden. 4) last time we went to this office, my baby saw a female doctor who is not the main female doctor in that office because my babys Pediatrician wasnt available that day. That female doc, whom I cant remember the name cause I think my brain just wanted to delete it, she was all we needed to decide to never go back to Southwest Medical ever again. When my baby cried, the doctor instantly put her earplugs in. earplugs. IM NOT joking. A PEDIATRICIAN. My husband and I were shocked. The woman talked like a lunatic and didnt seem to care about our concerns. That was the day they didnt even have my babys tests results and the doctor asked ME to go to the front desk to ask the front desk to call the lab. Lady at the front desk is having her LUNCH and says "I never did that before", so I say "the doctor asked me to talk to u", then she says "I'll see what I can do". After my husband and I waited about 20 min in the room(dr disappeared), we ask the front desk. Same lady says "I havent called them yet", so finally we talk to one of the nurses (I think her name is Vicky, shes actually nice), and the nurse finds the doctor and doctor comes back to talk to us that our baby will have an anemia test done. Another nurse does that, doesnt even know how to handle my baby. 5) this office never updated my babys vaccination card. Never said "schedule your babys next appointment" (12month, 18month). Nothing. They dont care. 6) finally we saw a new doctor who recommended to take my baby to a ear, nose, throat specialist to solve the problems. After months being frustrated with this office, we finally gave up.
