Just charged my girlfriend $200 to do an "a/c performance" test and to install a new cabin air filter. A new filter should cost at MAX $30. That leaves $170 worth of labor / "performance" testing fees - an ABSOLUTE JOKE. Replacing an air filter is literally the most mundane auto maintenance procedure on earth. It would take a child 5 minutes to figure out, let alone a "professional."
This is the EXACT kind of auto repair shop that gives the industry such a bad rap. 90% of the population knows next to nothing about auto repair costs and these guys' business plan is to take advantage of that 90%. I will die before I ever recommend your shop to anyone.
