| - Usually going to any Warehouse is a safe bet for a good night out with good food/drinks - but NOT this one! Service was horrendous.
As soon as we arrived the bouncer was extremely rude about my USA license and asked to see additional identification, which I was happy to provide. After pulling out school id, credit cards, debit card, etc he demanded I produce a credit card from the states. When I told him I didn't have one on me, I was harassed and continuously berated by the bouncer. My state's ID is one of the most difficult IDs to fake, I had other identification on me, and I entered with people who were all quite over the legal age, so if this bouncer had any ounce of reasoning or common sense it would've been clear as day. Instead, I was left embarrassed outside with a line of people waiting behind me while the issue was sorted.
Once finally inside, everything was going well - drinks were good as usual and service was decent. Then the bill comes... since we were a group of exactly 6, an automatic 15% gratuity was applied. The waitress comes to enter the amount and hands the machine over, and it displays the screen "Add tip" which is already set to 18% minimum. It had been a couple drinks so I didn't think much of it and said sure, let's give her 18% tip. My bill ended up being so high I thought it mustve been a mistake. I point it out to her and she says no, these are your items and this is the tax.
After we leave the bar I talked to my friends and it turned out everyone overpaid! We all added a tip ON TOP OF the 15%, and when it was brought up to the waitress she just brushed it off. In all she made out with $50+ extra from our table. I never mind tipping extra to the waitstaff, but this just seemed very sleazy and in poor taste.
Warehouse is one of my favorite establishments, but I will not be revisiting this location anytime in the future.
