  • This is a terrific workout experience, with great people. Mark Roberts, the owner, is as good a combination of fitness coach and human being I have ever met. Tyler, the primary coach, is very talented and accessible. Overall, the workout experience I had here was among the best I have ever had, and that's saying something. Sadly, injuries forced me to curtail, and then quit, my membership. But I miss it everyday. Be careful, if you are new, not to overdo it. These people are quite athletic, and it can be difficult not to partake with some recklessness. But the environment is incredibly supportive, and you will not be disappointed. It is a Crossfit box, and while the personalized training seems extremely variable, generally speaking you will be participating in a strenuous warmup, some lifting sets, and a WOD. My only caveat? It is not inexpensive. And I wish that some of their contracts were more flexible. But I also have learned that you get, in part, what you pay for, and that Journeyman is worth it.
