  • I'm really disappointed in my two experiences at Solid in Independence. The first time I went, I didn't even get a hello from the receptionist. Then my gel mani only lasted a week. The tech was nice though and decided to give it another try. I went last week, same receptionist coping an attitude and had another gel mani put on from a different tech. It's already starting to peel on 3 fingers and it's been just over a week. I've been getting gel mani's for a couple of years and they've last 2-3 weeks at a minimum. I haven't been exposing my nails to anything harsh or doing anything out of the ordinary. I can only attribute it to their technique or the quality of product they're using. Although it's a nice and clean environment, I won't be returning there to pay a premium for a mani that is sub-par.
