| - Shady rolled in to Michael Mina's newest outpost in Aria for the first of 6 meals in his latest Vegas boondoggle. Shady and guest started with a nice bottle of Rose' and moved on to the meal.
First off, the space is beautiful. A stunning bar greets you as moved towards the dining area. After a long perusal, Shady's gracious companion lusted for the seared foie gras, while Shady himself opted for the Duck wings L'orange. The foie gras was delicious, and was consumed immediately. The Duck was indeed delicious, but far too much work finding meat among the bones. As good as they were, Shady would order something else in the future.
On to the mains-The Lupe De Mer-Seabass was outstanding. Its hard to say it was better than the perfectly cooked Duroc pork chop, but with both being 4 stars, the nod goes to the seabass. A side of sprouts, some rest, then off to dessert. Another outstanding dish-The frozen Paris brest. Basically the most delicious saucers u can imagine.
The French fare was the perfect start to the Vegas binge. The service was great, the scene upscale bistro, and the food outstanding. Shady will have to revisit for the much heralded brunch. Bill was 273$ with the bottle, and includes Shadys signature bountiful tip.
