I don't even know where to begin with this hospital. I went in for a routine procedure and I was supposed to have a couple of days recovery time but the opposite happened. After my procedure that lasted one hour I left the hospital around 4 and I was not even coherent from the anesthesia when I was discharged and my post op nurse didn't make me pee (which is incredibly important after any procedure) I don't even remember leaving the hospital or getting home. Around 9 I started having unbearable pain and by 12 I couldn't walk. I had to be rushed to the hospital and it was very obvious that I needed urgent care. So as I was rolled in on a wheelchair I was behind one girl who had strained her back and I tell the receptionist it's an emergency and she told me I'd have to wait because everyone was urgent.
I've never seen receptionist walk so slow. Thankfully the on call emergency doctor had a brain and a heart because he ordered tests right away and they found my belly was full of free fluids. I ended up staying in the hospital for four days and thankfully didn't need another procedure. If it wasn't for my regular nurse during my stay and the quick thinking ER doctors I would give this hospital negative reviews as this "surgical complication" could have been life threatening.
