  • Summary: - The guys @ Vape Time can help you decide to switch to vaping from a flavor & pallate perspective - Vape Time Canada is one of the few places that offer DIY e-juice supplies & is a great resource for learning DIY. Review: Technical info and health benefits are absolutely key when it comes to vaping, but for setting up a first-time user, the importance of being able to speak to "throat hit", "nicotine craving", and "tobacco vs. all these fruit & desert flavors you guys have" cannot be understated, as many people who've converted will know. If you're thinking of making the switch from smoking to vaping, Vape Time Canada is an excellent starting point. Vlad and Daniel are knowledgeable guys that take the approach from the perspective of flavor and palate. The shop carries a number of starter kits aimed to fit various preferences - from the small & pencil-slim to ones that offer more battery life and e-juice capacity. As crafters of e-juices themselves, the guys also offer their own mixes among their juice selections. Their flavors can definitely stand beside the higher-end e-juices out there! Even better, because its their own they offer them at prices that are among the lowest you can find in the GTA - $38 for the larger 120mL (vs. usually $50 and up in most other places). I'd recommend Funky Monkey and Starbuxx among their top creations. Of course, at the flavor station in their shop, all of their e-juice offerings are available to sample. - Which brings us to the second part of the review: Vape Time Canada offers a pretty unique resource for vapers in the GTA: If you're looking to start making your own e-juice, this is -the- place to go. It's a bit harder to find representation for making your own e-juices in the vape world. Online communities are starting to grow in this category, but it can be a bit daunting to sift through the resources if you're just starting out. Vlad and Daniel are enthusiasts within this specialty. If you're someone that looks for face-to-face, firsthand knowledge before diving in, Vape Time has that to offer. They have all the supplies you need to get started: base VG and PG liquid, a huge selection of flavorings on-hand (from The Flavor Apprentice, Capella, Flavor West), bottles, mixing cylinders - it's all in-shop. And if you're already into DIY and are looking for a specific flavor, they can order in pretty much anything outside of what they carry. As an aside: Making your own vs. buying them can save vapers upwards of 90% of what they regularly spend. They'll tell you - that $50 bottle of e-juice? Once you set yourself up with supplies, you can make whatever flavor you want at a fraction of the cost. It's great that Toronto has a shop like this, because it's rare. Some places offer their own e-juices, but as far as I know, only 2 offer the ingredients to create your own. Vape Time is the ONLY one able to help teach you to use them. You'l have fun doing it, and they'll give you all the tips to start it yourself. Vapers in the GTA are lucky to have a lot of great shops catering to the hobbyist sub-categories of the vaping world - collecting, customizing, coil building. Vape Time Canada's presence truly rounds out Toronto's representation in the vape scene, and brings it to rank among the best in North America, imo. If you're even just thinking of either of the above - switching to vape or DIY - give Vlad and Daniel a visit. I've seen these guys in action, and they make sure their customers are set up with everything they need before heading home. You won't be disappointed.
