  • Ive been brewing for quite a while (wine) and never saw this store until I found it on social media a month ago. I walked in because it is convenient to downtown where I work and I needed yeast. I asked the guy behind the question a wine yeast question that I already knew the answer to and he nailed it. (ok a little devious on my part but I wasnt a beer maker yet I needed help with wine.) They know their stuff. Really relaxed really cool. There was another shop I frequented that seemed to be all old cranky ass men (The customers too) and even though I am pretty old that totally isnt my scene. I saw a post on twitter about a brewing class so I immediately signed up. I didnt even realize that for the 14 odd dollars it included a tasting at Boc next door. We all got a good history lesson and tasted crappy (pabst - on purpose) and 4 other excellent beers. Saw a demonstration on brewing and really got my interest up. So this is my place. I enjoy coming in there and I like talking to the guys about brewing. So I guess I am a beer and wine brewer now. Thanks Cleveland Brew Shop.
