Terrible customer service!
I have called several times for my prescription and refills. Each time the hold time is over 20 minutes and there is no way to leave a message. The last time I simply called to ask them to change the flavor and I was read the riot act about the procedure they would follow to ask my doctor for authorization. This was not necessary as the doctor was calling it in. I actually was trying to save Avella time!
Once the Rx was called in I received a voice message that they would start the prescription. I waited a few days and went to pick it up. Now the location is closed due to water damage so patients must call to get their medications delivered. So call and wait on hold over 30 minutes and get disconnected!!!!
I called another local compounding pharmacy who answered right away! And guess what everyone? They were less expensive. If Avella is going to charge more they should stop making people wait on terminal hold. Ever since this business was taken over things have been getting worse!
