  • We live in Cornelius but my mom believes this location is closer to our house (although Google maps shows the two laundry mats by us are the same distance) and she likes the fact that the facility is a lot bigger. Now, I agree. There are more than enough washers and dryers and my favorite part is the big dryer. The facility is a lot cleaner than I expected and when we first started washing clothes in one of the washers; there was water leaking. My mom proceeded to let somebody know and they brought a towel and immediately cleaned up the water. So not only were we welcomed with a clean facility but catering, welcoming staff. My reason for only 4 stars is the parking situation. From the moment you turn into the laundry mat, there are cars that are parked where the incoming traffic should be driving. So we had to use extreme caution and make sure nobody was coming out the same time we were going in. After we got through with that, we noticed a VERY cramped parking area. This location would be 1000x better if they expanded their parking lot. Luckily we found a handicap spot and parked there. There was even somebody parked in the fire lane which I'm pretty sure is illegal. So there you have it. I give the Huntersville 4/5 stars and on a scale of 1-10 on my likely to return scale; it would probably be a 6.
