| - We are visiting Montreal for the first time and knew nothing about where to eat. We walked past here, saw the menu outside and was then seated by a hostess telling us we could sit anywhere. After about five minutes, the bar tender/waiter came over and took our drink order. When he brought the drinks, he seemed annoyed when we asked for dinner menus, stating the bills for drinks and food are different.
We had to then wait 15 minutes for the bar tender/waiter to take our food order. Despite the place being practically empty (there were about 20 people total there), it took another 40 minutes for three dinner salads to arrive.
The bathroom is definitely an "open concept." At the bottom of the stairs, you are practically standing in the men's room. For both the men's and women's bathroom, there was one functioning sink, located in the men's room. So, if you are shy about women walking in to wash their hands while using the urinal, you're out of luck.
The plus here is that the Caesar and Greek salads we ordered were very tasty. But, the service was ridiculously slow. We waited another 30 minutes for the check before having to go up to the bar and ask for it (as we had tickets for a show and had to leave).
While the space and food are great, the service is so disorganized that I will likely not return.
