| - First, let me say that the Doctor was very good and knowledgeable. Having said that, I am very unhappy with the Front Office. They were not at all honest or upfront about the charges. I brought in a stray cat on 3/3/17 that I want someone to adopt from me and the adopter requested I do a simple test. I called for pricing on just a simple Feline AIDS/Leukemia test and was told it was $49. I showed up and asked the receptionist, "So the cost is $49? That is it?" and she said to me "Yes". The Doctor recommended eardrops for ear mites, which he said, would cost $30. I said ok and he put them in. I got out afterwards and the receptionist said that will be $150. I said, excuse me, you said $49. She said, well there is an additional $49 for the office visit. The other attendant said she told me that on the phone, I told her that is not true. I said to the receptionist then why did you confirm $49 to me just now? She did not have an answer for that. Without my permission, they also added more eardrops to my bill for me to take home for an additional $30. I told them to take that off my bill, which they did. They agreed to give me a $10 Internet discount after I complained. However, they were way too coy with the "office visit" charge and by adding more products to my bill. I would not have driven there knowing that. This is a stray cat! There are other clinics you can go to that do not charge for that. Unacceptable, buyer-beware. I want my $39 back.
