  • If you are looking for more commonplace ingredients, I would look elsewhere. BUT, If you are looking for foods or hard-to-find ingredients from the Middle East/Mediterranean countries or Europe, this is a great place to go! The prices are reasonable, and they have a very extensive cheese and olive selection at the deli counter. There is a large variety of canned goods including pickled vegetables, jams and preserves, dried fruits and nuts, grains and legumes, spices (including bulk), teas and imported chocolates, rose (and orange blossom) water and pomegranate syrup, ready-to eat curries, imported olive oils and a freezer section. I would say there is an emphasis on fresh/frozen Middle Eastern or Indian foods, and on canned European foods. All in all, a very interesting shop, very fun to look around if you want to try something new! Also, there are weekly sales (Saturdays I believe) on their cheeses.
