rev:text	I should say first that I have been a customer of Soft Surroundings for years, using their online and mail services. So I was thrilled when they opened a store near me. I couldn't wait to visit and actually try on some of those luscious clothes. Well, clearly the employees work on commission. I was approached as soon as I walked in by an overeager employee who just couldn't do enough to help me. The thing is, I was not looking for anything in particular, I just wanted to quietly look around, but I could not do so without her hanging on me asking if I needed different sizes and can she put this item in a fitting room and would I like some water? No? How about some champagne? No? Chocolate? No? Well, here is another employee who wants to give you a facial before he leaves. Come on, try this on your hand. Oh, you don't want a facial? (The facial-giver now looks crushed, a serious expression of disappointment and anger on his face). Well, try this on and I'll just stand RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DRESSING ROOM DOOR AND WAIT. And call in every few seconds to ask how you're doing. And offer you water again. And make sure you don't want the champagne and chocolate, again, and ask "are you sure?" enough times to make me want to scream....and by this time, I was ready to RUN, not walk, out of the store. Needless to say, I did not buy anything. So...two stars for the store itself, it's lovely, and the clothes are wonderful, provided the employees will leave you alone long enough to let you look at them. But I really, really dislike having to fend off commission-hungry employees when I'm trying to shop.
