| - This is my home sweet home studio in Madison. I tried out a few when I first moved here and used the discounted classes for new students (highly recommend to anyone whenever you first move). Bliss Flow stands out for a few reasons:
1) Every instructor has been the most genuine, unique, and helpful. I've been to studios where the flow feels routine, but at Bliss Flow, I get something different from each instructor.
2) There's a more mature feel to the studio as compared to those closer to campus. I love people who want to do yoga and would never put that down, but when students have their phones out right before class, there's chatter during the flow, and when it feels more like a fashion contest, I don't actually leave the class feeling more relaxed. I've never been in a class at Bliss Flow with students who didn't respect the space of the other students.
3) Free hot homemade hot tea! I love this feature. They also have apples, and the ones in the Fall are mighty good.
4) They offer specials on class passes twice a month or so. If you can be patient, you shouldn't ever have to pay full price (also check groupon for first time goers!). Money and time wise, I'm not able to opt into the annual membership, but they give deals on that too, and that feels like a great option if you go multiple times a week and are interested in the workshops.
5) I don't know when or why exactly the instructors started doing this, but I love it. They usually give a little head massage with essential oils while you're in savasana (very LIGHT on the oils, not overwhelming). It's awesome.
They do have a few changing spaces, but it's a bit of a squeeze so I recommend changing into yoga attire if you can before you arrive.
See you on the mat :)
