  • What a terrible place to get your eyebrows consulted. It was my first time there, so I expected the representatives to be a little more accommodating and a little gentler in giving me advice. Instead, my consultant tried to aggressively sell a bunch of different services to me, including tinting and microblading. I don't remember the name of my consultant but she treated me as if I was a 15-year-old teenager and getting my eyebrows done for the first time. At one point, when I asked her about the microblading services at The Brow House, she showed me before/after photos on an iPad, swiping through photos, saying very condescendingly, "Do you see it? Do you see it?" Yes, I friggin' see it, I'm not blind. I can see the differences in the before and after photos. If I was blind, why would I be sitting here in an eyebrow shop. It felt like she didn't bother to turn on her "customer service" personality until the second customer walked in - I was the first one who arrived, at 10:00 AM - and that customer sat down in the waiting area near us. Like, 'oh, another customer might over hear the fact that I'm treating my current customer like an 15-year-old, so I better put on a kinder personality'. Either that, or she was more conscious that her boss just walked back into the building. Honestly, compared to my experience many years ago at Eye Love Beauty Bar, this was an awful experience. If you are Asian, and have really light Asian eyebrows, I highly recommend trying Eye Love Beauty Bar. The Brow House and Eye Love Beauty Bar have similar prices - I paid nearly $40 for my consultation today - but the latter is owned by an Asian woman, so she /gets it/. Sparse Asian eyebrows require a different sort of attention, in my opinion... Because you're pretty much working with nothing all the time, lol. There is nothing to pluck or trim because there's really nothing to pluck or trim. Anyway, I wouldn't come back here again. Paying $40 for a 20-minute first-time consultation is just absurd to me. I expect super first-class customer service personalities if I'm going to pay $2/minute.
