  • WORST customer service experience of my LIFE! I went to this location this weekend with a girlfriend that just moved here from Ohio just like me. I wanted to show her the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall as it is my favorite mall. I was going on and on about the superior customer service that I always receive here regardless of what store I'm shopping in. Well low and behold I had to eat my words after we entered Intimacy. I was not even acknowledged or greeted by anyone until I attempted to look at a swimming suit. Once I started to admire the suit a sales rep by the name of Mary approached me and said very loudly "I can tell you right now we don't have anything that will fit you!" And I said "Excuse me? What about this one right here?" I was pointing to a size F-cup which I was unaware of the size at the time, but I was eye=balling the cup size and felt it would do as I'm well-endowed but I'm an E and a DDD on a good day. She promptly said that's an" F" and I said "Well I'm not an F." Indicating that I'm much smaller when she barked back "I know you're at least a HH." I was in complete shock and awe that I couldn't even gather my tongue to form a response. I calmly said "Well may I please try this one on?" She reluctantly retrieved the suit for me. I was so embarrassed! I tried on the suit and even had my friend come and take a look at it with me in it. The sales rep making those comments took the confidence right out of me that day. She had me doubting my size and the fit the suit would have on me. I never ask my friend's opinions about my clothing as I know my body and I know my style and I've never had any issues thus far, but this experience made me second guess everything. The suit looked awesome on me by the way, but I was deterred from purchasing there as I was too embarrassed to buy in front of all the people that witnessed this awful skit occur. As we were leaving my girlfriend remarked that another woman came in as I was trying on the suit and had the same HORRENDOUS "customer service" I'd experienced. The woman was told by the same sales rep Mary that the store would not have anything in her size. What's amazing about this is that the customer claims she was a B-cup which is pretty common. If the sales rep felt I was an HH cup (which I'm definitely NOT) I could see them not readily carrying a HH cup. However, B-cups are extremely common. I also thought Mary probably had an issue with larger women well the lady after me was not large at all so I wondered what it could have been. Well it turns out the other customer was African American just like myself and I wonder if MARY just doesn't have bras that fit African American women versus not carrying our sizes at all! FYI-I do NOT drop the race card and I always HATE to think that it's ever an issue. I'm always giving others the benefit of the doubt to no end, but this was just quite obvious!
