  • Picked up a chicken shwarma today while I was running errands. This place is fairly close to where I live but I have never gone in until today. Not the fanciest place around, BUT: the size of the pita pocket was HUGE, the chicken tasty, the vegetables definitely fresh, the hummous could have used a bit more garlic and lemon juice. The owner is a character (in a good way). The stuff is basic, but good and hits the spot. I was very surprised - it looks somewhat unimpressive from the outside. This is good, healthy, solid, basic fare without any hype or pretence.
