| - I went to Kindred Chiropractic for a massage yesterday. They are located in a quaint little location in Tempe. It appears their offices may have been a house with a guest house before being utilized for office space on Rural Rd. I liked the feeling I got immediately upon entering. The person who greeted me was very genuine and sweet. I felt at ease with the check in process right away.
I believe my masseuse's name was Martha. She was incredibly nice too. She led me to the guest house area for my massage. The aromatherapy massage experience was totally worth it. She let me choose which essential oils I wanted based on what I was hoping to accomplish (stress relief, relaxation, etc).
I asked her to massage a little harder than most probably would due to stress. I had a lot of knots in my back, neck, etc. She did not disappoint! Many massage therapists say they will do that, but they don't apply the pressure needed. Martha did a phenomenal job. Her pressure was stronger than almost any other masseuse I've ever had, but she kept asking if the pressure was okay, if she noticed me reacting to it. I did ask her to lower the pressure when massaging my legs, because I had just worked out on my legs that morning. She complied and I was wonderful.
I highly recommend going for a massage here. It's not going to be some big, fancy spa place that treats you like they are superior to their customers. If you have had that experience, you know what I mean. This was a very low key, healing massage. That is exactly what I needed. Martha is there to help you heal, and you can 100% tell that is her purpose from the minute you meet her. I'll definitely be back, and I will be recommending to my friends & family.
