  • STORE: Nice and clean, wide variety of rentals available for a somewhat expensive rate, especially their ammo. You can bring your own firearm which is great but make sure you bring plenty of your own FMJ ammo because their prices are ridiculous. RANGE: range masters are cool, sometimes a bit over strict but I'd rather have over protective guys then lackadaisical in a range typically filled with noob shooters with rentals shooting for their first time. They have a separate 50yd? range and a handgun range with nice auto pulley targets. My main complaint is if you go there just to zero in your rifle or get some handgun practice in, inside the shooting range it feels like they have the heat on. PRICES: There's no drink vending machines, just small bottles of water for $4 each that you can buy for 2 for $2 at any convenience store. You can rent your own lane for $21 if you have your own gun, ammo, targets and eye/ear protection but because of the unbearable heat in the range you won't last more than an hour and I sincerely feel like that's why they do it since there's no time limit on lane rental. So that way you don't occupy a lane all day if you brought 1k rds of ammo and all your own targets. Their semi auto rifle rentals are around $35 but you have to buy ammo after 50 rds at nearly 50 cents a round after you burn through your first 2 magazines. TRAFFIC: go on a weekday afternoon and you'll have no problem getting a lane and it's typically not over crowded and you can get a lane choice. Saturdays and Sundays, forget about it. Absolutely filled with tourists and first timers and usually a 15-30 minute wait for a lane to open up and you have no choice in what lane you'd like to practice at. OVERALL: I like it because it's close to my home and I have all my own gear and ammunition. Range is swept constantly so you're not tripping on used shells which is nice but the temperature is just unbearable. If you're going to rent some exotic rifles and have no gear, you'd better bring atleast $200 if you plan on shooting for more than 15 minutes. Staff is cool, there's always that 1 guy who thinks he's Clint Eastwood, Mr Guns, but they're at every shooting range so nothing surprising but the cool guys outnumber the a-holes by far. SUMMARY: expensive for noobs, decent for experienced shooters with your own gear but just don't expect to be in and out on a weekend and watch your lane partners because I've seen some really dumb noobs with zero muzzle control/awareness. Typically the range master jumps right in on them but you still want to always be inside your barriers of the lane.
