It was really easy to join Goodlife back in 2001. Goodlife was eager to sign me up so I could get started right away. For the past year, I've been paying $77.97 a month for a membership I am not using so today I decided to cancel. Leaving Goodlife is not as easy as signing up. Goodlife insists that I pay an additional $77.97 to pay for another month that I will not use. I think that is a really bad way to treat a long-standing customer. Goodlife might be happy that they are able to squeeze more money out of me, but in the future, I may decide to start working out again, but I am going to remember this when I am deciding on which gym to join.
