  • I never thought I'd find a big, chain grocery store in Toronto where I feel even cheaper in than at NoFrills, but then came Food Basics. The lines on a weekend are madness, therefore avoid them, but it's even cheaper than NoFrills!! One does not feel particularly clean or nice in it, but that goes without saying, and frankly, I feel the same at NoFrills, so... And I love the area, it's my old hood, and you are always bound to see some...interesting...folks millin' around. So it's good for the entertainment value, as well!
